| Conservative Dentistry | | | The department offers courses in dental anatomy, dental materials, conservative dentistry, crown & bridge, occlusion, and endodontics. These courses are taught during the 5 years of study. In addition, the department offers clinical training for students in the 4th and 5th years, in order to achieve a high level of patient management and treatment. The department focuses on the following subjects in the courses offered and in the scientific research of the staff: control of dental caries, risk assessment of dental caries and other conditions affecting the teeth, treatment planning, dental materials, and fixed prosthodontics. In addition to the courses offered in the DDS degree, the department offers a joint master program with the department of removable prosthodontics named "Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics". This program is recognized by the Royal College of Surgeons - Ireland. |
